Joint Statement - ETPs call for recognition and stronger integration in EU policymaking

FABRE-TP - The Farm Animal Breeding and Reproductive Technology Platform belonging to EFFAB umbrella - signed a joint statement calling European policymakers to recognise and fully embed European Technology Platforms (ETPs) in Europe’s policy and advisory architecture.

At a time when Europe must accelerate innovation and strengthen its strategic autonomy, ETPs represent the structured, sector‑driven expertise the EU needs in its policy and advisory ecosystem.

The joint statement underscores the strategic importance of European Technology Platform and their decades of experience in aligning priorities, mobilising expertise, and driving coordinated action — and reaffirms their commitment to working closely with EU institutions to help shape the future of Europe’s research and innovation landscape.
