Pig Breeders Round Table 2026

We are delighted to announce that the Pig Breeders Round Table 2026 (PBRT) will take place at the University of Kent, in Canterbury (UK) from the 15th to 16th September 2026.
The PBRT 2026 will follow the same pattern as previous editions: a friendly meeting with fascinating science and stimulating discussion held in a beautiful location. The University of Kent is set in 450 acres of parkland overlooking the historic city of Canterbury and its famous cathedral.
Please note: the PBRT2026 has been rescheduled from its original dates due to the meningitis outbreak in the Canterbury area. All existing registrations and proposed talk titles remain valid, unless you let us know otherwise.
What is Pig Breeders Round Table
The Pig Breeders Round Table (PBRT) is an informal meeting bringing together researchers, geneticists, breeding companies, animal scientists and other professionals working in pig breeding and genetics to share the latest research, exchange ideas and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of pig breeding.
The meeting provides an excellent opportunity to present and discuss new results with an informed, interested audience in an informal setting.
The scientific programme, as usual, is composed of contributions from those attending the meeting.
