Code EFABAR is a Code of Good Practice for Farm Animal Breeding and Reproduction organizations. This Code has been developed in a joint EU funded project with farm animal breeders and professional input on communication, certification and ethics.
As a breeding organization you can adopt the Code or have it certified in a running management scheme. The Code will be running as from 2006, and will in its current version be valid for two years.
The Code has been launched at 2 March 2006 at the Salon de l'Agriculture in Paris.
