EFFAB Director, Ana Granados Chapatte, presented at the Breeding Network meeting at Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics - Aarhus University.
It was a great opportunity to engage with Danish members of EFFAB and FABRE TP and colleagues in the plant breeding sector, around sustainability, diversity, and animal welfare.
Ana's presentation focused on challenges and opportunities for the Animal Breeding sector, from Research to implementation.
Animal Breeding scientists presented their ongoing research on preserving and enhancing genetic diversity, improving disease resistance and animal welfare, and reducing methane emissions through Animal Genetics.
