Joint Call for Investments in the EU’s agriculture and food sectors
14 July 202640 organisations from across the agri-food value chain have joined forces to call for stronger investment in the sector.
The signatories urge EU policymakers to recognise the strategic role of European agriculture and agri-food sectors by ensuring that the future Competitiveness Fund supports investments across the entire agri-food chain—from primary production to processing and manufacturing. Agriculture and Food have always been at the heart of the European project and are essential to enhance Europe's competitiveness, resilience and long-term sustainability.
