Since 2005, Code EFABAR has grown into a widely recognised voluntary code of good practice in Farm Animal breeding. Updated every three years, it reflects how breeding continues to respond to societal expectations and environmental challenges — with the active engagement of breeders and their stakeholders.

Now in its 7th edition, Code EFABAR stands as a reference for responsible and balanced animal breeding from insects, aquaculture, ruminants and monogastrcis — and is actively adopted by breeding organisations across Europe and beyond. 🐄🐖🐓🐟🪰
