Vision, Mission and Activities

"EFFAB plays a supportive role in ensuring that Europe provides the perfect environment for animal breeding and reproduction companies"
Vision
Animal breeding and reproduction are essential parts of the animal production chain. Societal challenges, such as the growing world population, climate change, a growing awareness of the need for biodiversity, require that breeding and reproduction is carried out in a sustainable way.

EFFAB plays a supportive role in ensuring that the European Union provides the perfect environment for a sustainable development of animal breeding and reproduction by promoting a proper EU and national legislation, by fostering fundamental and applied research in public and private institutions and by promoting developments in breeding and reproduction to the society.
